Service & support

Keeping process equipment in specification

Commissioning, calibration, maintenance, spares and emergency response — for ASC equipment and for autoclaves and ovens built by somebody else.

Installation & commissioning

Site survey, foundations and civil interface, mechanical and electrical installation, then commissioning by the engineers who designed the system. Safety functions proved, witnessed and documented before handover.

Calibration & thermal survey

AMS2750 temperature uniformity surveys, system accuracy tests and instrument calibration to a documented traceable standard — reported in a format built for Nadcap and customer audit.

Planned maintenance

Scheduled inspection of pressure envelope, door interlocks, seals, drives, fans, heating plant and safety systems. A written condition report and a forecast of what needs replacing in the next twelve months.

Retrofits & upgrades

Control and instrumentation upgrades without touching the pressure envelope, usually inside a planned shutdown. See AnyOEM Retrofit" for equipment we did not build.

CFD & thermal analysis

Computational fluid dynamics on new designs and on equipment already in service. Where a machine will not hold uniformity with a new tool, the model usually shows why before anyone books a shutdown.

24/7 breakdown response

Secure remote access means most faults are diagnosed before an engineer leaves the office, and a good number are fixed without one travelling at all. Critical spares held in the UK.

Support agreements

Three levels. No surprises in the invoice.

Cover is priced on the equipment, its duty and what downtime actually costs you — not on a per-visit basis that rewards us when things go wrong.

Essential
One planned maintenance visit per year, telephone and remote diagnostic support during working hours, priority on spares and discounted call-out rates. Suits single-shift operations with in-house maintenance capability.
Assured
Two planned visits, annual AMS2750 survey and calibration, guaranteed response times, extended remote support hours and an agreed spares holding. The usual choice for production shops under customer audit.
Critical
24/7 cover with contracted on-site response, quarterly inspection, full calibration programme, consigned critical spares on your site and an annual obsolescence review. For single-machine operations where a stopped autoclave stops the line.

Spare parts

Order spares

Critical spares are held in the UK for ASC equipment and for the third-party machines we support. If you have a machine down, call rather than email — have the serial number to hand and we can usually identify the part from a photograph.

  • Door seals, clamps and interlock components
  • Thermocouples, looms and vacuum transducers
  • Fan bearings, drives and motor assemblies
  • Contactors, control cards and HMI hardware
  • Relief valves and safety-critical instrumentation

Safety-critical parts are not a place to economise. Door interlock components, relief devices and over-temperature instrumentation should be replaced with specified parts and function-tested afterwards. We will always tell you when a cheaper equivalent is genuinely acceptable — and when it is not.

Equipment due a survey, or overdue an upgrade?

Tell us what you have and what it has to prove. We will say whether it needs a service, a retrofit or replacing — including when that answer does not sell a machine.
