Who we are
Engineers who happen to sell equipment
ASC has designed thermal processing systems since 1988. The materials have changed completely in that time; the underlying problem has not changed at all — get every part in the load through the same cure, prove it afterwards, and send everybody home safe.
The company
Thirty-eight years of composite curing.
ASC built its first composite curing autoclave in 1988, when carbon fibre structure was still an exotic choice on a civil aircraft. As aerospace moved to composite primary structure, the demands on curing equipment grew with it — larger vessels, tighter uniformity, and process evidence that would stand up in an audit years later.
Today ASC is the world's largest manufacturer of composites autoclaves, and the CPC control platform runs on more than 2,500 autoclaves and ovens worldwide — a substantial proportion on equipment built by other manufacturers.
ASC Process Systems UK is the group's United Kingdom operation, based in Poole, Dorset. We deliver engineering, project management, installation, training and support across the UK, Ireland and Europe, backed by the group's manufacturing capacity.
How we work
Four commitments we will be held to
We tell you when you need less
If a well-specified oven will cure your parts, we say so rather than sell you an autoclave. Over thirty-eight years, the recommendation that costs us a sale this year is the one that brings the customer back in ten.
The analysis is yours
You see the CFD, the sizing calculations and the assumptions behind them — not a summary asking you to trust us. If our model is wrong we would rather your engineers found it before fabrication than after commissioning.
We commission what we design
The engineer who sized the heating is on site when the machine first runs. There is no handover to a third party who has never seen the design intent.
Safety is not negotiable
We will not supply a configuration we consider unsafe to operate, and we will tell you plainly when equipment you already own has a safety case that no longer stands up. That conversation is occasionally unwelcome. We have it anyway.
Quality & approvals
The paperwork is part of the product
In the sectors we serve, an uncertified machine is an unusable machine. Our quality system is designed to produce the evidence package as a by-product of building the equipment.
ISO 9001
Quality management across design, manufacture and service.
PED / UKCA
Pressure equipment designed, built and certified to the applicable directive.
ASME VIII
Code-stamped vessels where the destination market requires it.
AMS2750
Surveys, SAT and calibration delivered to the current revision.
Careers
We are usually looking for engineers.
Mechanical, controls, software and field service. The work is unusually varied: a 7.6 m pressure vessel, a control retrofit in a live factory and a CFD study can all happen in the same month.
Field service engineers
UK-based, travelling to customer sites for commissioning, survey, maintenance and breakdown response.
Controls & software
CPC platform development, retrofit configuration and integration with customer MES and quality systems.

No qualification call, no discovery deck. Tell us what you need to cure and we will tell you what it takes.
