CPC platform
CPC control systems
The control platform on more than 2,500 autoclaves and ovens worldwide — a great many of them on equipment ASC did not build. Recipe-driven, safety-interlocked, and producing a batch record that survives an audit years later.
Why it exists
A SCADA package does not know what a cure is.
CPC is written specifically for thermal processing. It holds your cure recipes, drives the cycle from the lagging thermocouple, proves the vacuum circuit before it starts, and refuses to open a door that still has pressure behind it.
Recipe management
Versioned recipes with electronic approval and full revision history. The cycle that ran is the cycle that was approved, and you can prove it.
Lagging-thermocouple control
The cycle follows the slowest part in the load, so every part in the batch meets specification — not just the one nearest the fan.
Vacuum integrity
A six-step pre-run check and continuous in-cycle leak detection on every port. A bag failure is alarmed when it happens, not found at inspection.
Interlocked safety
Door locking proved against vessel pressure, redundant over-temperature trips, and an emergency stop path independent of the software.
Audit-ready records
Tamper-evident batch data with a 21 CFR Part 11-style audit trail. Formatted for AMS2750 and Nadcap review rather than for our convenience.
Fits your plant
OPC UA and MES integration, secure remote access for diagnostics, and retrofit onto third-party equipment of almost any age.
Three tiers
One process record, whichever you run
New installations ship on Appward. Multi-site operations run Enterprise. And CPC Legacy remains fully supported for operators who prefer the platform their team already knows — we are not in the business of forcing an upgrade.
CPC on Appward
New · current platform
Our current-generation platform, built on Appward. Browser-based operation, modular apps for recipe, scheduling, maintenance and reporting, and a deployment path that does not require a rip-and-replace of your control panel.
- Browser-based — no client install on the shop floor
- Modular apps: recipe, scheduling, maintenance, reporting
- Live cure monitoring from any authorised device
- Role-based access with full electronic signature
- Ships as standard on all new ASC equipment
CPC Enterprise
Multi-cell · multi-site
A supervisory layer across every autoclave, oven and press on the site — including machines from three different original manufacturers — so a part carries one traceable record regardless of which cell cured it.
- One recipe library authored and approved once
- Central scheduling across mixed equipment
- Unified batch record format site-wide
- Fleet-level reporting and utilisation data
- Integrates with MES and quality systems
CPC Legacy
Proven · still supported
The platform many of our customers have run for a decade or more. Still maintained, still supplied, still supported — with spares and engineering cover. If it does what you need, there is no reason to change it.
- Full spares and engineering support maintained
- Familiar interface — no operator retraining
- Runs on existing panel hardware
- Upgrade path to Appward whenever you choose
- No forced migration, no end-of-life cliff
Safety by design
The control system is a safety system.
On an autoclave, the software is what stands between an operator and a vessel holding 25 bar at 425°C. We treat it that way.
- Door interlock proving — the lock is verified against measured vessel pressure, not inferred from a valve position
- Redundant over-temperature — an independent trip path that does not rely on the control loop
- Emergency stop independence — hardwired, not a software command
- Oxygen monitoring where the resin system and your insurer require it
- Alarm discipline — a short, meaningful alarm list, because an operator cannot triage forty simultaneous warnings
Questions we are asked
Before you specify
Can CPC run on equipment you did not build?
Do we have to move off CPC Legacy?
What does Appward change for the operator?
How long does a control upgrade take?
Will it satisfy our Nadcap audit?
See a cure run live.
We will walk you through a real cycle on CPC — recipe approval, pre-run vacuum check, lagging-TC control and the record it produces at the end.
